Duzi Objects

Douglas Powell is a designer-maker whose practice bridges product design, metal fabrication, and experimental artistry. Rooted in craftsmanship, his work explores the balance between control and spontaneity, allowing materials and process to guide the final form.

Originally from Zimbabwe, Douglas trained as a product designer in the UK before becoming a certified metal fabricator. Now based in Australia, he is exploring new creative boundaries by designing and fabricating his own furniture and sculptural objects.
