The Bound Stool is a sturdy, comfortable seat made from durable materials designed to age gracefully with use. Over time the cord with soften and relax, and the frame will patinate without rusting, resulting in a texturally layered and unique chair made to last through repeated use.
The Bound collection began with the Bound Chair, developed in response to concerns around the environmental impact of furniture design. The series uses de-constructible construction and fully recyclable or biodegradable components to produce designer furniture that minimises impact both in its making and at the end of its life.
