Waldglas Candelabra (smoke)
A short description of the piece/work: Waldglasdraws from the murky green world of medieval forest glass, where colour was born from wood ash, iron-rich sand and the uncertainties of the furnace. Reimagined as a candelabra, the work carries light into older rituals of gathering, feasting and trust. Its rippled, embellished surface recalls early ornament while catching and distorting the flame, allowing the object to flicker between function and folklore. The gesture of cheers lingers nearby, with its tale of spilled wine between vessels as a quiet proof against poison. InWaldglas, conviviality becomes both ceremony and suspicion, illuminated by glass.
