The Flower Stool is the first work from Luke Crouch Studio’s Flower series, a hand-carved sculptural stool developed through traditional chair making logic and organic form. Made from salvaged Australian rose/red gum and finished through charring, the piece has a dark, tactile surface that emphasises the density, movement and age of the timber. Future works in the Flower series will be made to order in Tasmanian oak, making this piece unique in material, finish and provenance.
