The BCE Side Table is part of an ongoing series begun in 2022, exploring the history of bronze and the ancient discovery, use, and development of what I call Legacy Materials. In 2025, this body of work — rooted in the 'Before Current Era' — led me to create a piece that could have been made over 4,000 years ago, bringing these ancient building materials together in a single form.
